Batteries not included.

I have good news and bad news. Firstly, it’s been snowing, and I’ve not been at school. Secondly, the snow has been causing the electricity to only work sporadically throughout the day.

Since my laptop has a large battery, and the occasional flashes of power have kept it charged, I have managed to get something done today.

I started the turbine sometime last week, but didn’t bother to finish it as I didn’t know what I was going to do with it. The grass was of course achieved with particles, and despite my best efforts to get the bulb to look like it’s emitting realistic lights, I just couldn’t get it to work. I tried everything  from lamps to particles to halos, but they all produce horrible results, so I decided to just leave it switched off. I am quite happy with the rest of the piece however, the grass especially so, as only with infinite labour could I get it to look appealing.

As always, you can download this from the “My Works” section of the site.
